I still worry that this places the bulk of the power in the hands of hosting providers and the nerds that actually operate the software rather than people. 😅 E.g. if a hosting provider decides to deplatform all queer people or sex workers, they can for whatever reason. Happens with Youtube and Apple-related things. I guess if it's easier to run the hosting then more groups can participate in that?
