@bengo Hi! It's not really a 'council', it's a Discord server that a bunch of fedi mods and admins who moderate instances similar to .art - with a strong focus on proactive moderation and creating safe spaces for marginalised folk - hang out in to support each other and discuss mod/admin things :)

@Curator @bengo Query, how might one join this space? I'm workong towards onboarding news/blog publishers to ActivityPub via #DistributedPress and we're looking at default blocklists to set folks up with as well as allow lists for bypassing the "noderation queue" on replies to posts. Would be cool yo chat with folks on strategy.

@mauve @bengo We're a pretty closed group, and aren't accepting anyone new right now as we reached capacity for a size we can comfortably handle (we're all ND to some extent and big spaces don't work for most of us, too much noise). There are other spaces though, there's the official JoinMastodon Discord that has an admin space, I think there's a big Matrix that @downey runs?
