I keep hearing a certain sound especially in EDM lately which sounds like a distorted sine wave playing a b5 and G#4 in an arp. Anyone know what that is or where it comes from or why I hear it so much? I tried recreating it. It's not exact but it's close enough.
@mauve Or some kind of alarm? Maybe it’s a popular patch in a synth or a specific sound from something. I hear it quite a bit so I am curious where it comes from. There’s gotta be some kind of reason why that specific sound is so popular.
