aside from pure CLI stuff, I can't remember the last time I used a computing device where things felt instant, or even just faster than my rate of interaction.

@gsuberland I've been giving graphical tools a shot more lately and the massive waste of ram and CPU for something that'd take a dozen MBs on the cli makes me cry.
@mauve @gsuberland stardust apps are pretty slim so far and very snappy, I think they can stay that way if I make the tooling right
