I like simplicity of RSS, but its interaction/feedback story seems more… enthusiasts-centered… than of Mastodon or Bluesky. For some time now I had an idea of ”static blogs enhancement server/service” project in the back of my mind

That… thing… (temp name “subota”) would be a set of tools to connect to site's RSS and/or build process to make it work nicely with activitypub/atproto/websub/webmentions, stuff like syndication, following, likes, replies, etc.

Is there an appetite for that?..

@flamed @zemlanin Right now it's focused on collecting replies to Notes and notifying followers or "interacted" accounts of Activities. So I guess theres's the social part of actors following each other, but it could really be adapted for anything you can model with AP.
