i told the sf dweb leaders i’m stepping back from volunteering.
i don’t have the capacity to regularly meet up in person.
i’m stepping back from open source; funding my research in the space was fun and a terrible idea and i thought i’d be able to find funding for it by just doing the work instead of doing the paper work, but my approach is still largely misunderstood, so i’m just done.
i cut sillyz/plan98 into just the valuable bits for building clients and that repo is just plan1. that’s what i’m starting to use for contract work, so the lineage of research continues, i’m just not going to be able to talk about what i’m building anymore as i need to do nda stuff again so i can pay rent.
time for me to grow up and put down the rose colored glasses.
good luck out there.
before i go though, this is a pr to drop my research into peersky-browser
https://github.com/p2plabsxyz/peersky-browser/pull/8
this is the minimum code required to leverage these hand-picked elves from plan1: https://github.com/tylerchilds/plan1/tree/main/client/public/elves
or any of these experimental elves from sillyz/plan98: https://github.com/tylerchilds/plan98/tree/plan98/client/public/elves
