I have an idea for a Fediverse admin feature: Instances should be able to send out a distress signal.
If they need urgent technical help or want to shut down their instances and try to find other admin teams to take over their instance, then there could be a built in feature that informs other instances admins teams that opted in to receiving distress signals.

@PaulaToThePeople Servers Meta as actors at the instance level as a standard for admins would be cool along these lines. Have a "server admin" timeline that shows any admin related post even if you're not already following each other.
