@nasser I kinda wish the Boox Palma 2 was an actual phone instead of a phone sized tablet 😅
@mauve@mastodon.mauve.moe @nasser@merveilles.town For a while now, I've been using a Nokia 800 Tough for phone stuff and music/podcasts, and a Palma for Android specific stuff (my Chinese dictionary, train tickets, etc.) Works pretty well for me
@nasser The "minimal phone" seems like a good candidate but I don't think it'd ship to me in time. 😅
@mauve i've been thinking about this also but primarily around deleting everything possible in an android phone and just installing f-droid for and getting the ability to do wifi-only calling maybe.. if i hear of any new interesting travel phones i will let you know !
