@mauve i mean the pitch is easy right? if you have a money making mechanism in your product where profits scale with usage, these auto-scalers make sense

but if you don't, you probably actually would rather have a temporary outage from a server going offline instead of your real life going bankrupt

if a hobby-ist is playing with corpo tech that's the line they toe
