Made a custom keymap for my #twiddler Their tool is a bit janky but I got it juuuust how I want it. Next I need to practice doing actual coding. 🥳
@mauve you have a Twiddler! Oh I'm so curious how you fare! Loved mine for capturing random thoughts in weird situations but I was incapable of using vim bindings for the life of me.
@vincentpants So far I'm finding it to be a great replacement for my phone keyboard. I already use weird input devices a lot so it feels natural. Way more reliable than the Tap Strap 2 which was my previous chorded keyboard. Still need to do some coding 😅 Do you still use it? My main input device is my GPD Win 4, for comparison

What were your vim issues? I'm finding decent success building my sortcut muscle memory so far
@mauve ahhhh that’s awesome! I’m right there with you on weird interfaces but my twiddled is my only chord keyboard. I haven’t used it in a while since I tried to last quit Bluetooth. I loved it as a phone keyboard replacement and really wish I sorted out my vim issues. You might inspire a revisit! ;P
p.s. omg the web interface was horrible. I hope they fixed it. Omg now that I know I’m not the only twiddler user in the universe maybe it’d be worth fixing 🤔
