The wait times in Ottawa healthcare suck, but the quality and cost is pretty decent. Saddens me that the Ontario government is working so hard to ruin it.

It's never about the benefit of the people. Our CAQa (the Franco-fascist in Quebec) here appointed Hotel moguls to head the new "Santé Québec". And we still don't have universally family doctors.
@mauve the strategy is simple: make it bad. Them blame it on your own incompetence at running to transfer it to the private sector. Then there is no going back.

@mauve if people were informed, conservatives wouldn't be elected. Most of conservative voters vote against their interests.
@hub Yeah, it's a fun death spiral because the regressive government policies make life harder on voters and leave them with less room to actually think and learn while they struggle to survive every day. Coupled with the destruction of the education system, I'm not feeling envious of the next few generations.
