I wish Twitter's checkout feature also gave me the contents of all the tweets I liked and replied to so I can get a more full view of my history. 😢 I realize this would have implications on the privacy of the authors of those tweets tho.
@todrobbins @edsu Is there something like this but without needing to make an actual app account which could isntead use my login token directly? :P
@mauve @todrobbins not that I know of.
@mauve Good news! The archive feature does exactly this! It also puts together a nice little local website that lets you browse your data which is honestly a cut above other services that just dump you with a bunch of json files and walk away happy that they did the legal minimum required by the GDPR.
They also don't include other user's avatars or names in your downloaded archive but do include a link to view the live tweet.
@hank LMAO, I love the screenshotted tweet. :P
@mauve tried to scroll down and pick a good one haha
@mauve you can get that kind of data with something like #twarc https://twarc-project.readthedocs.io/en/latest/twarc2_en_us/ cc @edsu
