see, I actually think CSS is very very cool and so is HTML and they've spent a very very long time solving some very difficult problems with letting people build very unique-looking UIs.

It's hard to be excited about "lower-level" UI frameworks when you get relatively few widgets with limited functionality/layout capabilities and a very limited styling system.

But, like, I could do without the JS DOM.
