@zens @mauve @zkat the Linux one is AT-SPI https://developer.gnome.org/documentation/guidelines/accessibility.html it works with Orca for instance but whether you say orca is usable is very up for debate. I prefer to write UI applications as web apps when possible because dealing with accessibility cross system otherwise is a nightmare

@gaycodegal regarding what you said about "dealing with accessibility cross system otherwise is a nightmare" without web apps, that's kinda the conclusion I always come to as well. :/ If I had the big bucks it would probably be possible to make something new, but until then web is just the easiest option.
