@jalcine mastodon and bluesky are neat as far as nerd stuff goes but I think folks just want their communities back after twitter went to shit. I don't think either platform is gonna make up for the years of community building that were lost. Hopefully new ones will form over time.
@mauve @jalcine i wouldnt trust bluesky too much. in theory, it grants admins power to fuck shit up ....again.
Going full peer to peer will prevent the community building work to ever be lost again.
