I promise you, I will give your beloved Wayland a fair shake the day someone donates a video card that actually works with the fucking thing.
I’m not paying money to cause myself inconvenience. I do enough of that already.
@mos_8502 Same. I will use it on the day that I’m not aware that I’m using it.
@guffo Exactly. My existing setup, an nVidia NVS510 on X11, works. When Wayland works as good or better on whatever hardware I have, I’ll use it.
Part of the point of Linux is that it makes whatever hardware is available into a useful computer.
