it survived another round of resizing. How the hell is it taking 200 GB for a single user? The world may never know.
@mauve I guess it's the user-uploads? ..but even then gigabytes are way too much for some text and screenshots. Would be neato if channelmessages can have a default TTL (and opting out the important channels)
@lvk @mauve sometimes Im thinking of running devzat (https://github.com/mikecorey/devzat_docker) with a crontab which commits the chatlog to a (related) repo or LLM.
Discord/Matrix specs seem focused on huge ecosystems, while FOSS is usually about microcommunities.
