@mauve trying to imagine this computer and I just can't! What's it called?
@nitinkhanna this is the pooter: https://www.khadas.com/edge2 this is the keyboard: https://www.mytwiddler.com/ and then I have the older model of these on my face: https://luma.viture.com/
@mauve Oh. My. God. That is one sick setup!
That computer looks awesome! Is it the Pro version? Do you use the NPU?
And what is that keyboard?!?! I've never seen anything like that! How does that even work!
and wow... that screen thingamajig! Wow!
Wait... does this compete with the XReal thingy? Have you seen both and found this better? Do the same glasses work with mobile devices too? Or computers only? USB-C based miniHDMI or something like that?
@nitinkhanna Haven't used the NPU yet but I hope to this week. It's a chorded keyboard so you press multiple buttons to output a key, fully customizable. Jard to learn but convenient. The screen is a competitor to XReal yes. The built in diopters are nice for sharing with glasses wearers but I think I'll get an xreal next time I upgrade :o You can use it with anything that supports usb-c displayport (like samsung phones)
@nitinkhanna Most of my spelling errors are thanks to the android keyboard actually :P I find my accuracy is much better with the physical one though it's slower than a two handed keyboard.
@nitinkhanna Yeah I'm at like 30 WPM ish which is way up from the 15 WPM I was a few months ago. 😸 Mostly practicing when I go get groceries with my head mounted display on
@mauve A futuristic cyborg getting groceries! What a sight! 😄
@mauve I reckon once you get a thousand hours on it or something, your speed and accuracy will increase considerably...
