Almost getting to the point where I can be productive with my Edge 2 SBC. My desktop env is running. Got my browser compiling, but I need to figure out how to bake some command line args when running it so it will do proper hardware acceleration. VSCode barely runs since it's so bloated so I'm probs gonna go back to nano or some editor with simple keybinds and LSP support

@mauve Very interested to hear your experience with this. I think the low spec cli text editor has a lot more options now with LSP support from vim/nvim, emacs, to new-ish editors like kokune and helix

@hazematman Yeah, honestly I've been holding back because I'm not a fan of editors with different "modes" and complex key binding setups. I've had to use LSP stuff for work though so I'll just suck it up and figure something out. 😅 Might try one of these newer ones like this getfresh.dev/

@mauve @hazematman I was just about to reply asking if you'd try this yet. Seems aligned with the type of TUI editors you prefer

@andrew_chou @hazematman Fresh feels very similar to vs code which is nice. It's also quite resource hungry which is less nice. Using like a gig of ram with a js project with just a couple of files open for editing. Can't imagine what it needs so much for. Maybe LSP?

@andrew_chou @hazematman Yeah disabling LSP dropped the mem usage down to ~50mb which is more reasonable. Wish LSP servers weren't so heavy I guess. 😅 I think a Rust project I was messing it took like 6GB at one point
