My current desk setup is kind of absurd:
HP probook, sitting directly in front of me with wired headphones connected to it.
MacBook Air, sitting directly behind it, with the screen facing the wall, acting purely as an SSH and Xcode machine.
BrailleNote evolve to my left, primarily for use as a RIM target or controller.
Pixel 9A, my main phone, sitting directly to the right of my laptop.
iPad mini 6 and iPhone SE 2020 sitting all the way on the right side by the mac, working as iOS test devices.
And my Linux mini PC that I do most of my actual dev work on, sitting in the middle of the right edge of the desk.
TL;DR, I need a lot of devices to get my work done effectively, and my desk is very crowded.
@TheQuinbox Nice :P I keep most of my boxes in the closet an SSH or VNC into them to keep stuff less crowded. Do you use the phones directly for testing or can you remote into them and still interact with your screen reader?
@mauve I have to use the iDevices physically unfortunately, driving the apps with VO. I also use the simulator a good bit, but nothing beats testing on a real device. Same for the android, although I can get away with doing almost anything I want to with ADB remotely, but I still listen to what talkback says when I do so.
@TheQuinbox Oh snap! are the emulators accessible to your system reader then? I have dreams of stitching all my devices into one accessibility tree that I can traverse at my own pace and forget that windows and desktops exist entirely.
