What are folks using instead of Digital Ocean? I only really need a stable IP since I'm moving more stuff on prem. Preferably stuff with data centers in Canada?
OVH has a datacentre in Beauharnois, just outside Montreal. I'm happy with it.

I use a VPS on 1984.hosting for all my stuff. A few clients on infomaniak too. 1984 is great, fairly cheap, but bare bones. Everything powered by volcano/geothermal, and they respect privacy and free speech (excepting nazis and csam). Anyway, depending on your needs, that's who I'd recommend. You can even pay 1984 with monero and no PII required.
