You can also load the post using ipns://hypha.coop/dripline/ann

or open it in your preferred fediverse instance after following @dripline

Hah, I love how this diagram turned out but it sucks that there's no easier way to make it screen reader friendly.

Also! Make sure to follow @mai who's been helping coordinate all this stuff, @akhileshthite that worked hard to code the features and do editing, and the folks at @sutty who who made the jekyll plugin, integrated all this into their CMS, and made sure this stuff was all working!

@mauve @dripline glad to see its loading! Still got a ways to go to get formatting working right in different clients (Yes this is mostly a mastodon problem). this is what it looks like in @tootapp

oh one thing I noticed @mauve was that this post didnt show up on my feed even though I was already following the account, but it did when I searched for the canonical url of the post. I did notice I was following the account from when it has a different name then dripline and the name changed when I manually loaded the post

@liaizon Ah! Did you follow it when it was called @dripline maybe? We recently renamed it to dripline since we'll be hosting multiple blogs on that domain soon.

Sadly getting posts to show up on mastodon can be iffy still.

@mauve @dripline I had followed it *before* it was renamed dripline.

@liaizon Yeah we did a bunch of back end changes before the announcements so that's probably why it got messed up. 😅😅 But subsequent follows should be stable now that we're fully released.

@mauve mastodon does *not* like actors changing their names so surprised that it worked at all

@liaizon Yeah we did a bunch of back end changes before the announcements so that's probably why it got messed up. 😅 But subsequent follows should be stable now that we're fully released. We also switched from our staging to our production version at one point. In the future we'll figure out how to cleanly move accounts using `sameAs` or some such.

opps another thing @mauve is that you mention supporting @pixelfed but when I search the account or the post url there I get nothing. have you tested against pixelfed already? if not, might be good to specify in the introduction post what software you have tested against. How does it work with Lemmy, Friendica and Takahe etc

Ok weird, that works as an outside link for me in Mastodon web when I click it, it doesn't bring me to the profile within the Mastodon interface. I can find the profile through search though.

@mauve This looks like it might be a graphviz diagram...

SVG output instead of a PNG might help a little, but perhaps you could try publishing the diagram source code - only good for very techy users, but at least it's textual.

@sundew Yeah, the labels are legible but IIRC the edges aren't in the accessibility tree. Have you tried graphviz with screen readers before by any chance?

@mauve I've used graphviz a lot, but not in the context of accessibility I'm afraid.

@mauve I just tried #SocialInbox with Sutty, and I'm super impressed by it how smooth its all working. Already fully set up and visible in the fediverse as well. Really cool stuff

@mauve managed to do it all in literally less than 5 minutes, from signing up to having a blog post that I could read via my mastodon account
