@jalcine Techbros don't even need to perform the act of creation. With enough posturing and wealth you can talk the talk with nothing else to substantiate it 🥰🥰
@technobaboo I think longer term I'd like it to boot into stardust in either spatial mode when my headset is connected or in non spatial if it's not
@gregeganSF There's new solar cells being deployed to consumer electronics that might get enough charge from passive light sources :o https://ambientphotonics.com/
@technobaboo My computer boots into bigpicture mode :P
@sblackst Are you able to send/recieve replies?
@Hyolobrika Ha ha yeah, links are not endorsements. I like to lurk in places to stay on top of things. A lot of AI people get intense about their worldviews.
@technobaboo Oh afaik steam os launches stuff in gamescope and I haven't been able to launch niri with it so I assumed it was something in that realm that was off.
"Google and Facebook have been unscathed by European privacy law. That’s not because they don’t violate the GDPR. It’s because they pretend they are headquartered in Ireland, one of the EU’s most notorious corporate crime havens. And Ireland competes with the EU’s other crime havens — Malta, Luxembourg, Cyprus and, sometimes, the Netherlands — to see which country can offer the most hospitable environment.
The Irish Data Protection Commission rules on very few cases, and more than two-thirds of its rulings are overturned by the EU courts, even though Ireland is the nominal home to the most privacy-invasive companies on the continent. So Google and Facebook get to act as though they are immune to privacy law, because they violate the law with an app"

I think I wish to work on this sort of thing but I dunno if I could afford to drop everything for it. 🥲
@technobaboo Cause getting niri on steamos is harder without distrobox :x
@technobaboo I think right now I'm more having issues with how steam's "gamescope" wayland stuff works and figuring out how to get it to play nice with niri and distrobox
@j3rn Yeah I was just thinking about code being comissioned by either employers or clients. It seems like the media industry has more of a culture of creators retaining some copyright or some sort of royalties.
Personally I try to mark stuff as agpl as much as possible :P
@fleeky sadly it's just bridged channels logged into discord as me so not sonething I can share publicly
