@silverpill These are great. I didn't know I could place anything but a string under URL. Setting it as alternate with the AP mime type seems like a good solution

Hey fedifolks! I was hoping to get some bikeshedding feedback on a new #FEP we're working on at #DistributedPress.

tl;dr we want #ActivityPub objects to link to #P2P URLs for alternate ways to load them. Right now I'm debating between putting them in `alsoKnownAs` or into the `url` field. e.g. `"alsoKnownAs": ["ipns://staticpub.mauve.moe"]` for @mauve@staticpub.mauve.moe

I worry that field is already in use and that it could cause trouble. Would a new field name be better? Maybe `alternateURL`?

That feel when I need to keep pushing but my toothpaste tube is already empty.

@technobaboo I think longer term I'd like it to boot into stardust in either spatial mode when my headset is connected or in non spatial if it's not

my new computer is a lot better at running language models locally. I'm seeing if I can get it to explain code in a language I've never worked with before. so far so good!

@technobaboo Oh afaik steam os launches stuff in gamescope and I haven't been able to launch niri with it so I assumed it was something in that realm that was off.

I think I wish to work on this sort of thing but I dunno if I could afford to drop everything for it. 🥲
