Got home from this AI/ML meetup and my cats are so excited they're literally jumping over each other as they sprint accross the house.
One of my first dips into making a game engine involved using Java's built in JavaScript engine to script Java with JavaScript. The FFI was abysmally slow :P
@lvk TBH I enjoy Java more because at least when it gives me hell I know that's pretty much a limitation of the JVM and there isn't a cleaner and easier way I could do stuff in JS. :P

One of my pill bugs escaped my gecko terrarium during cleaning and my cats found it. Managed to get it back in before they ate it :P

@j3rn Right now I've had some success by using a matrix puppet bridge to connect to discord. Sadly all the matrix apps scale poorly when you get to the vume of messages and rooms I operate in 😅
