I "love" how we need to keep on studying things that are flat out good for society while bad things just get rolled out without the same onus of proof.
Things that need to be proven over and over and over:
- Universal Basic Income
- Walkable cities prioritising pedestrians, bicyclists, and transit
- Low speed limits for cars
- No-strings housing for homeless
- High taxes for the rich
And the list goes on and on... why do we make it so hard to improve our society while making it so easy to ruin it?

its been a while since we stole the rainbow.
i am proud to announce that today, we will begin work on stealing the infrared spectrum. but we wont stop there. we are also currently in the early stages of planning out how to steal the strategically critical radio and microwave spectrum too. our end goal is the complete gayification of the entire electromagnetic spectrum

They're also enjoying learning Git (via github) by the look of it. Hopefully the version control stuff can bleed into their other projects.
My partner is not very techy but they're learning Markdown for a thing and seem to be having fun.

You add a bit of metadata to your static site and have a static Actor JSON file point to the inbox for getting replies. Then can pull replies using JS or during site rebuild. @Miaourt I started with Oryx and Crake and its sequels. Loved it. Currently reading The Handmaid's Tale. Both seem like glimpses into near futures which is kind of disheartening :P
@Miaourt Scifi, post apocalyptic stuff, some biopunk. I think her perspective that she brings to her characters is unlike a lot of authors I've read. I think she has an interesting view of human nature and motivation.
I think Margaret Atwood might be my favorite author right now? Greg Egan is a close second.
