@mcr314 Try looking at the accounts on their own instance via your web browser. They're likely just new to your instance and it hasn't received data from them before or had to load any of their posts via other users on your instance interacting with them.

there's this quote "a society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in" that shows up verbatim lots of places cited as a Greek proverb, but the degree to which it is quoted verbatim makes me think there might be a more recent source that's not being attributed properly. regardless of its origin, i like the philosophy: build a better future together little by little doing the things you can today

Scientists in California have created a new way to see inside the body by combining ultrasound with a light-based technique called photoacoustic imaging. The result produces fast 3D images that show both the shape of soft tissues and how blood is flowing.
