I think I've gotten to the point where the default voices in espeak-ng aren't cutting it anymore. Gonna try cloning my own voice to speak back to me via sherpa-onnx and pocket TTS.

Cool side effect of running a battery powered cyberdeck is I can give a number for how much percentage bits of work take. e.g. compiling a big ish C++ project took like 20% of my battery

Thankful to live in a city with a thriving music scene. We're not fancy, but it's plentiful.

Snap! Just learned about this new #JavaScript feature called `using` that lets you dispose of resources after you exit a block. Good alternative for needing a `try - finally` expression. Feels like Python in a good way.

I love how my timeline is full of conflicting opinions on a lot of issues. It's fun seeing the similarities within divergence and the divergence within the similar.

@rebane2001 I feel like people (backend devs) really don't appreciate how hard it is to make layouts that work decently across every screen resolution and aspect ratio. 😅
