@indutny did you run the full R1 or one kf the distilled models? R1 is like 600+ B params and the small models can't really compare to that since they're just qwen/llamma but with some tuning to make them yap more.
@DrinkFromTheCup Is brewing fruit a viable option? I have lots of fruit trees in my area.

As someone who is totally blind, the Fediverse is the only place where I have ever been able to follow people such as photographers, artists, or even those who post pictures of their cats or the food they ate. The reason is that most of them use alt text. They take the time to describe the images that my screen reader can't recognise. Some write the descriptions themselves, and others use tools such as altbot. Some worry that their descriptions aren't good enough, especially when they are new at this. Let me assure you, not only are they good enough, they are extremely appreciated! If the rest of the world thought as you did, it would be a much better place. Don't hesitate to ask if you're unsure of something, but never think that we don't notice your effort.

@makeworld I tried getting into it like 8 years ago and again when the steam release came out. Sadly there was a bunch of crashing and I gor frustrated losing my saves. Been more stavle this time around so just playing it here and there. Are you a vetran? :o

After a long silence, Tumblr confirms it is still planning to join the fediverse.

To my fellow progressive canadians: make sure to vote in the upcoming election and get folks around you that are on the fence to take it seriously too. I'm voting NDP since they've been following through on actual progressive policies. Especiallt if you consider yourself an "ally" of some sort, this is the absolute minimum one can do.

Now is a great time to talk about your server. When I say "I help run a social media server" I worry it sounds like "I'm in charge of the CIA!" that *is* how it can sound.
