Honestly I wish more of the web had the janky neocities feel.

Maybe with 3d objects and layout built in?

I'm thinking html style markup, but fewer tag types and more app ui related tags. Close to how Android's ui editing works?

Now I kinda want to reinvent web pages with a reduced set of functions to make it easier to use native elements across platforms and focus on user theming.

Maybe wasm blobs with a minimal DOM API?

Honestly I'm noy making much progress but I uust played another 9 hours in a row. 🤪 I think I'm about to run into fokd acquisition issues with the next wave of dwarves that move in. otoh, my next fortress will be a lot more efficient

Even the query layer can be distributed across multiple workers in order to take advantage of locality and parallel processing.
