My corn snake decided she wanted to have a go at eating my hand again when I was taking her out to feed. I respect the hubris. She got a nice rat to eat once she calmed down enough to pry off of my finger and seemed satisfied with her clean terrarium.

In today's misadventure with the hospital cops.... i am standing at the metal detector and the cop asks me the name of my dog. I tell him she's working and it's not necessary for him to have that information. And I ask him why he needs it. He informs me he wants to talk to her while he pats her down. FOR REAL! I tell him that he can just use the wand, that he doesn't need to talk to or interact with her and that she is working and will be ignoring him. Also that if he needs to search under the handles of her harness or in her pouches that I will need to be the one to open and or move them because she will not allow strangers to do that. Did he listen to me? OF course he didd 'NOT because he's a COP and I'm just a woman. A disabled woman at that. So he goes in and starts talking to her and trying to touch her and she steps back and gives him a filthy look. Finally he decides that I do actually know what I'm talking about so goes over her with the wand, while keeping his mouth shut and she ignored him like I said she would. *sighs*
Can't imagine what it's like to be programming without learning what pointers are and how manual memory works first.
I wish the JavaScript Map class could use buffers as keys instead of needing to convert them to strings first.
My current cyberdeck setup makes it super easy to work from the library. I just need to figure out a lower power matrix client and how to make the CPU fan less noisy.
