Not only was this made with an LLM, it breaks so many other things but If you use this font to protect your text from AI, it also blocks *me, a human* because I use a screen reader. I did try the demo. If you want me to remove your RSS feed, this is the best font to prevent blind people from reading your blog/words. That timer is an inaccessible solution. shieldfont.org/#hero #AI #LLM #Accessibility #A11y

I've been touching too much grass. *cracks knuckles* It's time to log on.

I know I've said several times that I don't want to make more social accounts but if MySpace comes back I will 1,000% re-learn HTML and spend all my time over there filling out surveys and changing my profile song every hour.

That brain feeling when you figure out a race condition that requires weird IPC timing issues that are hard to track down in tests. 🤤

It's weird that so many languages don't support wrapping text strings over multiple lines by default and use special syntax instead.

Love how the term "slop dev" and "slopping code together" is spreading in my circles 😈

I really appreciate places where it's just some single user rooms so people don't need to pick a gender before going in. The extra privacy is nice too.

It'd be nice if there were more gender neutral washrooms.

I have over a dozen mosquito bites that are super irritated AMA

Chinese delivery man exosuits give me gender envy.

My controller locking up when the game saves feels exactly like the phantom movement when I can't move my limbs during sleep paralysis

One of the conclusions I’ve come to from my years of software freelancing is that humans hate tradeoffs.

I don’t just mean that we hate deciding between options when none is clearly the best. I mean that people hate admitting that tradeoffs •exist•. We desperately want there to be a best option, a correct answer, a clear choice that will satisfy our egocentric need to believe we are objectively In The Right. 🧵

Main reason I'm going this route is that the sherpa-onnx library is supposed to be able to use my Rockchip NPU on my machine to speed things up.

I think I've gotten to the point where the default voices in espeak-ng aren't cutting it anymore. Gonna try cloning my own voice to speak back to me via sherpa-onnx and pocket TTS.

Cool side effect of running a battery powered cyberdeck is I can give a number for how much percentage bits of work take. e.g. compiling a big ish C++ project took like 20% of my battery
