Is there a client for Mastodon that purely speaks in ActivityPub rather than mastodon-specific APIs?

Ahhh, the initial spec of IPLD prolly trees is almost done and we're about to start writing a golang impl based on the spec that'll integrate with other IPLD things more easily.

Next we're going to be working on indexing data on top of it, and from there' it's a small jump to bridging the fediverse wtih p2p by publishing indexed activity streams onto IPLD!

I wish there was some format for DnD which could be a lot more async at the speed of an email thread or forums. Or the speed of someone casually playing a chess game with a friend over the course of a week, paying attention to it when it's their move and they happen to have time.

@hank @evanw omg yessss. Bridging between fedi and p2p has been on my roadmap for a while. I'm currently worki g with folks on standardizing data structures for p2p database indexing as a starting point. 👀👀👀

I think my ideal workweek is like 10 hours of being productive and the rest messing about so this is really testing my limits.

I wish I had some clones so we could work on more stuff than my individual body can do. 😭

There's like a dozen things I want done but I can handle 4 at most at a time in practice.

Spec writing is hard. It takes so much time to get stuff right, especially compared to publishing some code with maybe a few tests to back it up. 😅
