Hot take: #SkibidiToilet is full of military and pro war propaganda. Though it could just be a reflection of the authors culture rather than something done on purpose. For some thinking in military propaganda is like breathing clean air.

Jeeze I feel really bad for the toilets tho. The camera heads are basically genociding them using state violence. Though they paint the toilets as the scary ones to justify why it's okay to reduce then to vermin.

it's interesting how it makes the viewer associate with the camera heads and how the viewer is just abother camera seeing it happen. Similar to how within our society we viewers are being reduced to cameras filming each other. In a aense we are but we have such different views on the global set of all things that may be viewable on one instant.

i wish I could turn my living rokm tv on it's side so I could appreciate the format fully. I hope they release a 4k version some day. Or even a blueray for us olds. The story is very political and I'm still not sure whether the author wants us to side with the toilets or the camera heads.

I believe Skibidi Toilet's success is due to it fully embracing the "tiktok/youtube shorts" format while being episodic storytelling which can interleve with the algorithm. Kids are into it because it is art that is on the cutting edge of media formats. The fact that it is silly and the actual story is honestly secondary. Though maybe I will appreciate the store more as I get deeper into the lore?

I love open source because when stuff doesn't do what I'd exp€ct I can find the exact threas tracking why (updated alnost a year ago). Software dev is hard and prioritising dev time is hard.

@thisismissem Which attack did you see in this case? No names were called no insults to character. Is expressing any sort of anxiety for the hands of a big bully in your space an attack? The massive power imbalance is real and the threat of violence from facebook is everpresent even if people are "being nice" to each other.
