@wyatt8740 I found ditching heavy desktop envs like GNOME and Plasma for small ones like niri has made wayland more pleasant. Also having xwayland-satellite as a backup for apps that don't have wayland suppport.

Captured the first (public) words of Hypha's bot Roo. He's been helping us track bookmarks and holidays but today marks the first day he can actually talk to us. Our next steps are going to involve wiring him into our information sources and teaching him new tricks.

Honestly I'm pretty happy with how this went. I think I covered a lot of ground

Also, here's a recording of the talk I did at their last conference (used to be called Bloom) on and web apps.

@silvermoon82 Matrix bridges. :P I can have it log into all my networks for me and make sure I don't miss anything while AFK

@nelson There's some blender based workflows that I've seen people do. It's not quite "push a button and go", but importing and svg and extruding shapes isn't too difficult by hand.

@GeeksLoveDetail Not offhand but I should really take some at some point. I've got a bunch of lil controllers and the Tap Strap and stuff.

Really excited to get into using this EEG for stuff. Might just start by using the gyroscope for somethin or other.

The only thing I like more than weird shaped computers is weird shaped input devices 🥰

My hand pain has been really bad lately and this could make it easier to use my phone. A bit more pricay than I usually risk on bluetooth stuff tho.

Human interaction is so much more complicated than information system design and programming. I feel like Bunny The Dog sometimes out here conpared to the ease with which I can dig into an applications data flow. 🤪

@jackdaw_ruiz Somone on tiktok said it reads like it was planted by a cop.

@benbrown Oo! I've been wanting to do that with meshtastic and ollama. Do you have your source published by any chance?

I got “redundanci’ed” from my $day-job and I’m looking for a new one starting in February. Ideally Rust, Haskell and/or compilers, dev tools. Let me know if you know something or someone! 🙋🏽💞

My favourite thing about arch linux is the AUR wrapper yay, so every time I want to find some software I get to do a little exclamation of joy over it
