@fleeky Just imagine the spice levels of the takes I don't shout on a public forum. :P

Great and it doesn't want to recover encryption keys for my chats. Wonderful software! Military grade.
@rra @cblgh K! We had a bug in how we authenticated methods which I just fixed today. I also added an account creation script to my staticpub example: https://github.com/RangerMauve/staticpub.mauve.moe/blob/default/create_account.js
Should all be working now!
@em I'd like to but it's been hard because electron-builder doesn't play nice with it out of the box.
Tracking issue here: https://github.com/AgregoreWeb/agregore-browser/issues/217 and docs here if you'd like to send a PR https://www.electron.build/configuration/flatpak
ATM the most portable option is appimage.
This also handles generating digests for your request body and adding in expected headers like Host and Date.
Also has a useful function for generating new keypairs and an example structure for your Actor object.
Just published a new module for doing signed HTTP requests for #ActivityPub in #JavaScript for #NodeJS
This wraps over the `fetch` API that's typically used in browsers but is now available in node.
@tinker Cool, yeah, this is great food for thought. I'll see what veggies I'd even want to grow and try something out. There's a nook in my kitchen that's by the window and begging to have something placed into it.
@fleeky Like every three months for the wipe and every week for the freeze (I think it's to do with my computer being set to sleep mode for long periods of time?)
@tinker Interesting, ty for the tips. I think one of my pals managed to do closet tomatoes using similar methods.
I was imagining an out of the box thing like this: https://zipgrow.com/product/8-tower-farm-wall/
Scraping together some buckets and lights seems a lot more affordable. 😅
But honestly even this fancy thing doesn't seem too bad if I saved up for a few months. 🤔
@tinker how much has your setup cost you so far if you don't mind disclosing? :o I have space in my kitchen but I don't know if it'd reallt be worth it compared tk goinf to the grocery store over however long the machine would last.
Still worth it to not have to jump between a bunch of apps and "slack workspaces" to get my work done. :P
silicon valley VCs' best ideas of the 2020s:
-put a drone on something
-wrongness generator 3000 (uses more energy than a small nation)
-fraud
-space pollution
-self-crashing cars
-an app that is actually criminally underpaid workers in another country
-an app that is actually criminally underpaid workers in this country
-fascism
-vrchat but it cost 20x to make and it fucking sucks
-layoffs
Ugh the Element Matrix client is so annoying. It randomly freezes up and starts eating all my CPU and freezing my render thread and then has the gall of corrupting it's state and needing me to do a full sync again. (which takes tens of minutes because it wants to load every single message/user/room or something.
@ryanramage Hmm, it's a bit tricky sadly. I haven't done much Unity cause I'm not a fan of their business practices lately, but I did some work with Godot and got a multiplayer 3d scene working with the help of @fleeky and others. https://github.com/HyperGodot/hypergodot
The way it works is we compile the hyperswarm stuff into a binary and load it along side the game process. This is not updated for the latest versions of code yet tho :P
