@deersyrup Nothing as exciting as maxed out compute tbh. Compiling large C++ projects to the point that everything is pegged to 100% usage and my DE is frozen is a rush.

One of the conclusions I’ve come to from my years of software freelancing is that humans hate tradeoffs.
I don’t just mean that we hate deciding between options when none is clearly the best. I mean that people hate admitting that tradeoffs •exist•. We desperately want there to be a best option, a correct answer, a clear choice that will satisfy our egocentric need to believe we are objectively In The Right. 🧵
