@TheQuinbox BTW thanks again for recommending TDSR! I'm still not at the point I can code a lot on it but I've been slowly progressing and it's been really easy to modify it given how small the codebase is.

A weird thing about living in #Massachusetts is constantly having other Americans tell you the life you live every day is impossible.
"You can't tax billionaires, they'll leave."
We have been, and they didn't.
"You can't legalize weed, it will increase crime."
We did, and it didn't.
"You can't make public transit free, it will cost too much."
We did, and it didn't.
And on and on, and the lesson to learn is don't listen to the billionaire media professional whiners and just do what's right for your community AND IT WORKS! But I still have to listen to this stupid shit every day.

Thankful for having access to air conditioning this year and spare time to enjoy the summer on my own terms.
@hub Yeah, it's a fun death spiral because the regressive government policies make life harder on voters and leave them with less room to actually think and learn while they struggle to survive every day. Coupled with the destruction of the education system, I'm not feeling envious of the next few generations.

The wait times in Ottawa healthcare suck, but the quality and cost is pretty decent. Saddens me that the Ontario government is working so hard to ruin it.
Seems the StandardJS code style checker can't really be called that anymore because it hasn't been updated in a couple of years and already can't parse new syntax.

So much for "digital sovereignty". When organizations such as CIRA don't even make the effort, how do they expect others to do so? Very shameful.
