Everywhere I look there's just islands of grey sameness infected with franchises owned by a few duopolies siphoning the life out of residents after destroying the life that was once thriving on the land.

Just looked at a house in a recently developed auburban zone. Absolute nightmare. All those trees torn down for rows and rows of identical gray houses with nothing to walk to but a copy psted childrens park with again zero trees. All with like 20 mins drive to anything with humanity.

@ryanramage RII Mini i8+ I love it and only thing I'd change is having a physical scroll wheel since the trackpad scroll can be a bit janky.

Approaching a couple months of using a PS4 controller + a mini bluetoooth keyboard as my primary input devices and I gotta say, browsing graphically has been way nicer than keyboard+mouse.

Typing I'm still building the muscle memory for, but it's defs way faster than speech to text or an on screen keyboard. Though my right thumb seems to be taking the brunt of all the repetitive strain so I might need to switch keyboard layouts to make lefty do more work. Maybe also use the left stick for mouse

@jonny They're like GOTO statements but with a lookup table but dressed in extra syntax to make it even harder to read. :P

Was told not to disclose I had pet snakes on the rental because I probably wouldn't be accepted because of it.

I love putting a bunch of classes into a single file if they're related to each other and only splitting it when they get too big to jump comfortably.

Wish I had the equivalent of fediblocking on stuff like tiktok 😬

@yosh I wonder if it'll be useful for reducing how much lithium will need to be extracted from mines on indigenous land at least.
