@tnypxl Yeah I was actually considering doing a workshop using my own browser, @agregore, which would also bring a way to create and share content offline and on local networks.

I decided to go with standard browsers because I wanted to support people without access to fancy computers like kids that only have the chromebooks their schools provide them.

Apple-only projects in particular are kinda uninteresting to me since it excludes a lot of people.

Sent an email to the library coordinator about running a workshop.

Gonna focus on teaching folks how to use Devtools to mess with websites and create bookmarklets to persist changes.

I wish web browsers had kept built in user scripts as a feature so that everyone could edit their experiences more easily.

back on the worksite! gotta catch up with all my emails and get back into writing these codes. seems the keyboard I got to attach to my controller has a bug battery, but at least I have another one coming in the mail.

@symfonystation I was thinking more along the lines of using that site's UI instead of my mastodon view over their data. E.g. even if I can follow stuff on a lemmy instance, I won't see the nice organizing of topics that they have.

It'd be cool if #ActivityPub had a way to log in with your accpunt on another AP server. Like, if I wanted to check out kbin it'd be nice if I could reuse my mastodon account.

wow, I can't believe how big the increase in the quality of life from the setting up this controller with my deck has been so far.

I had a lot of trouble switching between portable and docked mode since I'd lose all the nice controller features they went to keyboard and mouse the. now I can comfortably sit with the controller in my lap and do most of my navigating from there.

way less painful on my fingers too

instead of purchasing new controller or keyboard or whatever I've opted to set up my the old playstation four controller and the bluetooth keyboard attachment for it. what's really cool is that #steam made it easy to get up and running with the touchpad acting as a mouse and the scroll wheel which makes navigating way easier. I also have the same key bindings as I do on my #SteamDeck itself so it's easier to switch between them.

But honestly I think what I really want is the keyboard bindings that Pop OS has for moving and resizing windows.

K, after using it for a while, the Rii i8+ bluetooth keyboard isn't enough for my needs. Specifically the trackpad is hard to use for moving windows around. They keyboard is decent but I think what I really want is the trackpad from my steam deck but with a keyboard :x

i actually had my account locked for a bit since I was using an alternative client for messenger :P I forgot the password for my recovery email and gave up on the whole thing for like two years or so.

Tried browsing "The Face Book" today. The sheer number of ads and irrelevant algo bullshit was not impressive.
