@rose_alibi Yeah! The role of "seamstress" seems like it could be more valuable in a world where other things are more easily automated. I've been doing more repair to my fave garments lately and they're turning into a mass of patches :P
@rose_alibi Yeah I wonder if the tarrifs and hits to efficient global (exploitation) production will lead to a larger focus on mendable clothes for americans. It's hard to talk about consumerism sometimes because a lot of people are drowning in it without even seeing it IMO.
@rose_alibi Personally I like thrifting because it's cheap and I can find weird stuff that regular stores won't hold
@adz I'm usually averse to making up new protocols :P If there was an existing url scheme I'd be all over it. I was thinking in this case I could extend the renderer extension and have it intercept the file type from any protocol and render it as a page instead. Does p2panda have url schemes for file transfer? Iirc it's changed backends a bunch in the past few years, right?
@akhileshthite It's something with Undici. I'm guessing it's to do with the conversion from the protocol handler upload data and the request body. Causing busboy parsing errors. 🤷
@adz I should look into landing first class support for them into Agregore somehow. Just not sure how the distribution would work outside of the chat context. 🤔
@brandon Hmmmm, maaaybe. I think right now I need to focus on executing more than learning a new way of editing text.
It's defs been on my TODO list and vim seems like a decent target given it's installed by default everywhere. I think with my editing style I get more frustrated with more features rather than feeling empowered. 😅
Is your vim config published somewhere? What do you like about it over notepad or a regular textarea? :P
@brandon I tried continue.dev for a bit but I haven't been using it lately nor the built in copilot stuff. It doesn't look like it's been draining my battery before the computer dies though. I've been doing code with nano for like 4 hours now along with using some of my local LLM tools for code snippet generation and it seems to be going fine. 🤷 No VSCode no crash.
Maybe VSCode was doing something fucky with my GPU without me knowing.
@murilove Ouch! Yeah that reminds me of how "Chat GPT" apparently sounds like "Cat, I farted" in French (chat, j’ai pété)
Occult Enby that's making local-first software with peer to peer protocols, mesh networks, and the web.
