Hi everyone, I'm a totally blind electronic musician. Looking for a audio, developer fluent in C++ d to help me with a very special open source project to assist blind people with electronic music production. If you can help me, or know anyone in your network who can please reach out and get at me. Thanks very much everyone :-) #electronic music :-)
I'm not much of a gamer so that part isn't exciting for me, but this seems to be more powerful and more portable than my current computing setup so I think it'll be worth it.
Also, the 4G adapter is exciting since I could potentially replace my Android phone with this thing. :x
This past few months at the other site has me convinced organizations should 100% do whatever they need to do to build outreach capacity independently from social media sites.
Make a newsletter, a zine, a big Signal group, whatever you want. But it should be yours, so it can't just be bought or taken away.
Whoa, this #GPDWin4 thing seems like a great alternative to the #SteamDeck with beefier specs, a smaller form factor, and a built in keyboard.
Apparently it works more or less out of the box with #linux! I've been thinking of replacing my NUC with the steamdeck, but now I think I'll wait for this to come out and do that instead.
The specs might be better for #VR too.

It'd be neat if there was a front end for #PeerTube that looked like Tiktok but with the algorithm being on the client side with more control over how it finds content.

@Are0h Honestly what gets me about capitalism is that as a society we seem to have decided that democracy is good, but only sometimes.
Democracy in voting for your local mayor? Good. Democracy in voting for your boss? Bad.
And no-one ever questions it.
@mauve Maybe https://cryptpad.fr/ ?
Are there any #foss alternatives to Google's spreadsheets that folks liked using? Specifically interested in self hosting, live collaboration, amd access control.
Hobestly wish HackMD had something for spreadsheets built in so I could write text instead of fiddling with a mouse :P
Occult Enby that's making local-first software with peer to peer protocols, mesh networks, and the web.
